For instance, "The Final Problem" was published under the subheading "XXIV.-The Adventure of the Final Problem." NINA SIMON I believe that culture belongs to everybody, and, as stewards of cultural heritage and producers of culture, museums should involve and showcase the diversity of voices within our communities. I spoke with Simon about her current projects at MAH and her vision for the future of museums.ĬECI MOSS What do you mean when you talk about the “participatory museum”? Simon’s work as a writer and consultant led to her appointment in 2011 as executive director of the Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History ( MAH), where she has had the opportunity to test and realize many of the approaches discussed in her research. ![]() She’s also the author of the self-published books The Participatory Museum (2010) and The Art of Relevance (2016), which are practical guides for museum professionals wanting to deepen visitor participation and audience connection. ![]() Launched in 2006, the blog covers how museums can implement more horizontal twenty-first-century practices in terms of exhibition design, collection management, and audience interfaces. The morphological analyses found only one consistent difference between T. Our molecular analyses place the Tramea from Galapagos in the same clade as T. We combined sequencing of mitochondrial and nuclear DNA with morphological examination of several specimens of Tramea, including representatives of continental T. Here, we use molecular and morphological data to analyze a series of specimens from this genus collected in 2018 from the Islands of San Cristobal, Isabela, and Santa Cruz, with the aim of determining their relationship with Tramea calverti Muttkowski and with their currently considered senior synonym T.
